Carbon baseball played Cyprus over the weekend. The Dinos gave up four runs in the second and four more in the sixth in their 10-0 loss. Runs were hard to come by for Carbon, who only had two hits, each by Braxton Bennett, who went 2-3 with a walk.
Carbon only gave up four earned runs in the contest to go along with six unearned runs. They will have to find a way to manufacture more offense and limit mistakes as region play is right around the corner.
The Dinos (1-4, 0-0 Region 14) will play two games against Providence Hall (1-2, 0-0 Region 14) this week. The first will be on the road on Tuesday and the second will be at home on Friday.
