The Carbon High School Drill Team, more commonly known as the Dino Dynamics, welcomed in the new year by spending the first weekend of 2019 showcasing their hard work at a competition.
This weekend event, the Falcon Classic Drill Competition, was hosted at Clearfield High School and featured 1A through 6A schools. Those in attendance stretched their muscles in anticipation of the single and group presentations expected of them.
The Dino Dynamics performed well and placed in a number of categories.
Thanks to the hard work of those on the team and steadfast coaching skills, the Dino Dynamics won Best Spirited and Overall 3A with the Best Spirited category being judges’ choice. The girls also snagged four first place wins as well as a second and third place honor.
