Dino Soccer Continues Winning Streak

After a two-game shutout streak against North Sanpete and North Sevier, the Carbon High School soccer team continued its winning action with back-to-back victories against Richfield and Juab.

The Dinos hosted Richfield on Friday and, amidst clouds and snow, managed to secure the 3-2 victory against the opposing team thanks to the work of Dinos Daniel Vega, Jesus Acosta and Jordan Hunsaker.

Returning to the field on Tuesday, the Dinos traveled to Juab where Taylor Griffeth and Misael Sanchez each found the net for Carbon, ending the match with a 2-0 victory.. Senior Andrew Williams again earned the shutout, his third of the season.

The Dinos’ second-to-last game of the season will take place on Friday as the Dinos host the North Sanpete Hawks.
