Dino Soccer Honors Four Making All-State

The Deseret News announced the All-State soccer players, who were chosen by coaches that observed them throughout the season. Carbon had a great year, going 13-3 in the regular season, falling in a heartbreaker in the state tournament to the Juab Wasps.

Tyler Morris had a fantastic year, ending with 13 goals and eight assists from the Midfielder, getting an Honorable Mention nod last season. He ended his high school career with a 3A First Team honor. His teammate, junior Sam Dart also received a First Team honor. Dart was recognized for his solid defending throughout the year.

Two more juniors would get All-State recognition in the 3A Honorable Mention. Defender Logan McEvoy finished his well-played season with eight goals and 10 assists. Cannon Mortensen was also honored for his solid work as the Goalkeeper, ending his year with 4.5 shutouts. These athletes will bring a bright future for the Carbon Dino soccer club next season.
