After a tight first quarter, the South Sevier Rams ran the score to as many as 22 during their 67-55 win against the Carbon Dinos on Friday night. The score was tied at 11 apiece after one quarter of play.

Sophomore Brad Williams hit a three-pointer late in the fourth quarter that cut the lead to 64-55, but that is as close as the Dinos would get, losing their fifth straight game.

Carbon used a 8-0 run that started late in the third quarter and ended in the fourth, to get the lead to 14.

Carbon (1-10, 0-0 Region 12) will travel to Castle Dale on Wednesday for a matchup with cross-county rival Emery. The game can be viewed live on ETV Channel 10 at 7 p.m. The Spartans beat the Dinos 66-37 on Dec. 27.
