The Lady Dinos rounded out Region 14 play on senior night as they hosted Juab in Price on Thursday.
The first half saw defense play the lead role as both teams battled. Juab was able to sneak in one before the break, taking a 1-0 lead at the half.
Carbon answered with a goal of its own in the second, but it was not enough as Juab managed two more connections with the net. Tatum Hyatt was the downfall of the Dinos as she notched two points for the visiting Juab team.
Elley Cowdell led the offensive push for the Dinos, notching the lone goal for the hosting team. Cowdell has scored 15 goals for the Dinos this season.
Carbon will now head to the first round of the state playoffs. The Dinos are slated to travel to Castle Dale to take on the Emery Spartans for the first round on Oct. 11. The game, scheduled for a 4 p.m. kickoff, will be broadcast live on ETV Channel 10 and online at www.etv10news.com/livesports.
