In two back-to-back nonregion tilts, the Carbon High Dinos grabbed a huge shutout victory over the North Sevier Wolves before falling to the South Summit Wildcats the following day.
Carbon managed a season-high nine goals in the first half during its home action against North Sevier. The Dinos would continue to put points on the board, finding the net twice more en route to an 11-0 shutout.
Adam Morley, Diego Leyva, Hunter Mortenson, Jamin Jensen and Kanyon Beecher each planted at least one for the Blue and White while Chris Park led his team with four goals. Jack Jeppson was awarded the shutout.
The next day’s match, though, fell flat for the Dinos as the Wildcats grabbed two in the first and never let the lead go. Carbon ended up handing the victory over 2-0.
Carbon will hit the field next on Wednesday as the team hosts Canyon View.
