Concluding a tough four game road trip, the Carbon Dinos found themselves in Vernal against Uintah Tuesday night and were sent home with a 72-38 loss, dropping their record to 4-5 on the season.
The Utes outscored the Dinos by seven points in each quarter except the third, in which Uintah exploded for 19 points compared to Carbon’s six.
Ten Dinos scored in the game, with no player notching more than seven points. Peyton Fausett led the team with seven to go along with four rebounds. Kasey Moynier added six points and Andrew Kotter finished with five.
Carbon concluded the road trip with a record of 1-3. The team also went 3-1 during the Pepsi Classic in Odgen Dec. 4-6.
The Dinos will host Union on Wednesday and Tooele Friday. Both games can be watched live on ETV Channel 10 at 7 p.m. Carbon will then be off for Christmas break until a Dec. 30 matchup with rival Emery.
