The Carbon Dinos dropped their third straight game Friday after a 7-2 loss to the Canyon View Falcons in Helper. Carbon lost a doubleheader to Canyon View on Tuesday.
Taylon Abeyta had two hits, including a double, of the four total team hits in the game. Cole Fossat had the other extra-base hit in the game. Dallyn Mower was also credited with a single.
After giving up a run in the top of this first, Carbon took the lead in the second with two runs. Canyon View tied it up at three apiece in the fourth before notching four more in the top of the seventh for the 7-2 win.
Anthony Maclean started on the mound and went 4.2 innings, giving up just one earned run. He was credited with the loss. Fossat relieved Maclean for the final two innings.
Carbon (4-8, 0-3 Region 12) has lost three straight after a four-game winning streak. The team will host Richfield (8-3, 3-0 Region 12) on April 19.
