It only took the Carbon Dinos five innings to take a decisive win over the Providence Hall Patriots Tuesday afternoon in Helper, 10-0.
Nate Olson tossed a no-hitter in the game, striking out five Patriots en route to the win. Providence Hall had just one base runner in the game, which came on a hit batsman.
Cody Lowe went 3-3 in the game, legging out a triple to go along with two singles and three RBIs. Zac Bradley went 2-2 with a triple and a single with two RBIs.
Carbon scored all of its runs in the first three innings before winning via the mercy rule in the fifth.
Carbon (6-4, 1-0 Region 14) will travel to Providence Hall on Friday .
