Trying to take the season series against the Juab Wasps, the Carbon Dinos were upended on the road in Nephi Wednesday night, 41-39.
Juab got a bucket from Jackson Rowley with three seconds left for the thrilling win.
Down five after one quarter of play, Carbon tied the game up at 19 going into halftime. Both teams played even throughout the remainder of the game.
Ryan Gagon scored a game-high 16 points, including two threes. Colin Lewis nailed three more en route to 11 points. Ryker Smith was next with five points.
Carbon (4-14, 3-5 Region 14) will travel to Providence Hall (9-8, 5-2 Region 14) on Friday for a matchup with the Patriots. Carbon thumped Providence Hall 56-40 back on Dec. 15.
