Colin Lewis led the Carbon Dinos to the win Thursday in the first of three games in Colorado this weekend. The Dinos beat Palisade, Colo. 55-26, notching their first win of the season.
Lewis poured in 12 points to lead the team. Ryan Gagon chipped in 11 points and Jordan Vasquez added eight, including two of the team’s four three pointers in the game. In all, nine Dinos scored at least two points in the contest.
Carbon limited Palisade to just seven points in the second and fourth quarters combined.
Carbon (1-1, 0-0 Region 14) will be back at it Friday against Cortez, Colo. at 3:30 p.m. The Dinos will finish up against Grand Junction, Colo. at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. They will then host the Richfield Wildcats on Tuesday. That game will be broadcast live on ETV Channel 10 at 7 p.m.
