Jordan Vasquez nailed five triples en route to a game high 19 points in Carbon’s Friday night win over Providence Hall, 56-40. The Dinos currently sit in a tie for first place at 2-0 atop the Region 14 standings.
Carbon did most of its damage in the first half, outscoring the Patriots 23-11. Colin Lewis added two more threes and 14 points to the Dinos’ total. Derek Hillam was the other Carbon player in double figures with 11.
Carbon (3-6, 2-0 Region 14) will travel to Delta (4-3, 1-1 Region 14) on Wednesday. The game will be broadcast live on ETV Channel 10 at 7 p.m.
