Dinos Run Into a Buzzsaw

After falling to Emery by one on Friday, the Falcons headed toward Price determined to split their extend road trip.

Canyon View started off hot and controlled the early going. In fact, Chet Anderson’s 10 first-quarter points kept the Dinos in the game as they quickly fell behind 16-12.

The Falcons then opened up the second quarter with a 7-0 run to take take an 11-point lead. Carbon tried to climb out of that hole, but the Falcons had other ideas.

Canyon View exploded with 26 points in the third quarter and put the game out of reach. Even though Cole Cripps hit a couple clutch threes in the fourth and Braxton Stevenson ended the night with 22 points, it was not enough to overcome the Falcons as they took it 66-58.

Stevenson’s 22 points matched a game-high while Anderson finished with 16. Cripps added 11 more points to go along with six boards while Ashton Ferguson led the Dinos with 10 rebounds.
