Josh Barlow nailed a double to the gap in right center in the bottom of the sixth inning, plating Jayden Flemett and giving the Carbon Dinos the 10-0 win against the Richfield Wildcats, taking the season series.

Although Carbon registered just four hits, it took advantage of too many Wildcat passed balls and errors, scoring run after run on miscues. The Dinos scored five runs on passed balls and two more on errors committed by Richfield in the infield. The Dinos also drew 10 walks in the game.

Flemett laced a single in the sixth inning, scoring Cody Lowe who nailed a triple to lead off the inning. Needing just one more run to end the game via the mercy rule, Barlow bashed the pinch-hit double to the wall, plating Flemett.

Carbon scored four times in each of the second and third innings and another two in the sixth.

Gavin Robinett went five innings of shutout ball, striking out five and walking three. He scattered six hits over the five innings.

Carbon (8-7, 4-2 Region 12) will host North Sanpete (4-8, 0-1 Region 12) on Tuesday for a doubleheader.
