The Juab Wasps traveled to the Carbon Dinos field for a region matchup on Friday. The Wasps came into the game with a 4-3 region record, sitting in the middle of the pack in Region 12.

The Dinos were ready to continue their winning streak, as they scored one goal in the first half, keeping their goals safe, not allowing a score. It was the same scenario in the second, as Carbon would put in one more goal and safely guard their own, giving them their fourth straight win, 2-0.

Cannon Mortensen and Ty Mortensen were the dynamic duo keeping the goals safe, as they would both earn a 0.5 shutout. Luke Brady would score a goal for the Dinos, giving him his fourth of the season. Edwin Acosta-Sanchez would also get a goal, being his first of the season. Logan McEvoy had the lone assist on the day, making it his sixth of the season.

Carbon improves to 8-1 in the season, with 27 goals scored and only nine goals allowed for the team. Next up, they will be facing the Delta Rabbits, who are sitting at 4-5 on the season. They will be playing in Delta on Wednesday for the second meeting with the club, the first of which ended with a shootout victory for the Dinos.
