The Carbon Dinos scored three runs in each of the third, fourth and sixth innings Saturday at 4A Skyridge, taking the 12-1 victory in six innings.
The win wrapped up the regular season for Carbon, which will now prepare for a Saturday matchup against Desert Hills in Park City in the first round of the 3A Playoffs. The game will begin at 1:30 p.m.
Gavin Robinett went 3-4 against Skyridge, with two singles and a double and an RBI. Wyatt Wilson and Cody Lowe each added two hits apiece for a combined three RBIs. Jayden Flemett went 2-4 with two RBIs as well. Chase Morgan knocked in two more runners on s single.
Zac Bradley went three innings of two-hit ball without allowing a run. Morgan and Lowe pitched the final three innings without allowing another hit in the game.
Should the Dinos beat Desert Hills, they will then play at 4 p.m. in Park City. In the event of a loss, Carbon would then travel to Wasatch High School for a 4 p.m. contest.
