The Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary recently hosted a holiday fundraiser at the Tuscan Event Center. The event featured a silent auction as well as a meal for those in attendance.
Tickets for the dinner were available for purchase leading up to the event. Spaghetti was served as the main dish for everyone who attended, and there were refreshments and desserts as well.
Along with the food and silent auction, there were indulging events for children to participate in. The auxiliary organized a cake walk game and a fishing game, among others.
The items for the auction were donated by local businesses in the Castle Country area. There were over 50 items featured at the event. The proceeds from this fundraiser will directly benefit veterans in the area that might need a little extra this holiday season.
