An event in Castle Dale aims to raise awareness for domestic violence on October 24.
Hosted at the Emery County Recreation Center, the event will feature Zumba, a 5K run, a self-defense class and much more.
The event will kick off at 9 a.m. with a 5K run. Zumba will follow from 10 to 11 a.m. while the self-defense class will take place from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Also at the event, manicures will be offered by the USU Eastern cosmetology department. Cherry on Top will also be preparing fruit crepes and smoothies for those in attendance.
The cost for the event is $5 per person or $20 for a group of five.
