Dr. W. Marcus Brann brings highly anticipated heart care to Castleview Hospital with his new office in Price. Members of the community welcomed Dr. Brann and his entire staff with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Tuesday afternoon. Hosted by the Carbon County Chamber of Commerce, the ribbon cutting gave those in attendance the chance to meet Dr. Brann and his staff as well as tour his offices.
Dr. Brann joins Castleview Hospital from the Heart and Lung Institute of Utah. He will be treating patients with heart valve disease, coronary artery disease, cardiomyopathy, aortic aneurysms, arrhythmia, peripheral vascular disease, congenital heart disease, hypertension and more.
“Dr. Brann has years of experience in treating a range of complex heart conditions, and he is an excellent addition to our hospital team,” said Mark Holyoak, CEO of Castleview Hospital. “Heart disease is an increasing concern in our area, and Dr. Brann’s expertise will be important as Castleview Hospital strives to meet our region’s evolving healthcare needs and make our community healthier.”
Dr. Brann graduated from Dartmouth Medical School, in Hanover, New Hampshire. He completed his residency and a cardiology fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Dr. Brann is board certified in Cardiovascular Disease.
Due to his love of fishing and the outdoors, Dr. Brann expressed his pleasure when the opportunity arose to move to the area and fill a great need in the community. He has been seeing patients since his arrival in early November and is still welcoming new patients.
