Plenty of rubber was left on the road Friday evening as drivers gathered for the annual burnout competition in conjunction with Price City’s International Days.

The event, which took place on a portion of Price’s Main Street, gave car fans a chance to enjoy engines roaring, smoke flying and the smell of burning rubber making its way through the town.

The first-place award was given to Bob Price, while Toby Burnett brought home second. Joshua Pierce scored third and the TC Child Memorial Burn Award, awarded by Chelsea Killian-Child, was given to Joe Stout

The competition was sponsored by Dinosaur Tire.
