The Utah Division of Wildlife Resources will sponsor a family fishing day during the Carbon County Fair at the fairgrounds pond on Saturday, Aug. 9.
The event will run from 8-11 a.m. DWR officers will provide rods, reels, fishing tackle and bait for anyone who does not have their own fishing gear. DWR personnel will also provide help and supervision for beginners and children.
There will be prizes for all children 12 years of age and younger.
The event is free for everyone, regardless of age.
