The economy in Castle Country is always of interest to almost everyone and on April 11, Utah Division of Workforce Services northern Utah Regional Labor Economist Hope Morrow will be speaking at the Castle Country Business Expansion and Retention general board meeting, giving a forecast of what might be taking place over the next five years in the area.
Morrow recently relocated from eastern Idaho, where she was a labor economist for a number of years, to Utah. She grew up in central Washington and attended Eastern Washington University where she obtained her education in economics. Her career has focused primarily on community workforce development through in-depth quantitative analysis.
The presentation will take place at the Jennifer Leavitt Student Center Alumni Room and it will start at 8 a.m. and last about one hour. The public is welcome.
