Spartan running backs David Dyer and Jared Shakespeare led the charge Friday night in an impressive 48-12 win against the North Sevier Wolves.
Dyer accounted for three touchdowns and Shakespeare notched two more. Dyer caught a 10-yard touchdown pass from Spencer Labrum, ran in another score from six yards out, and intercepted a Wolf pass and ran it back 49 yards to cap off his night. Tanner Lake and Casey Morris accounted for the other scores for the Spartans, both rushing.
Emery (3-1, 1-1 2A North) will travel to fellow 2A North member American Leadership Academey (1-3, 0-2 2A North) Friday.
