In her final game in an Emery Spartan uniform, Hannah Dyer left it all on the floor and spurred the Lady Spartans past the South Summit Wildcats 62-51 for a fifth place finish Saturday at the Sevier Valley Center in Richfield.
Dyer connected on 4-7 3-pointers en route to 22 points to lead all scorers. Ashlynn Allred took advantage of her speed and connected on numerous layups and finished with 17 points on 8-12 shooting.
Emery started slow in the game, falling behind 13-4 after the first quarter. An 18-9 second quarter, though, tied the score up at halftime, 22-22.
An 8-0 run early in the fourth quarter gave the Spartans a 51-40 lead and then coasted to the win.
Emery finishes the season with an overall record of 21-4, with a perfect 10-0 Region 15 mark.
