The 18th ranked Eagles faced No.16 Snow College in a highly-anticipated top 20 matchup. The men came out sharply and dominated the opening 25 minutes.
Aiden Mcmullin opened the scoring with a lovely chipped ball from William Mugisha. The build up to the goal was gorgeous one and two-touch play. However, Snow was able bring the game back level before the break.
The second half was a tactical battle between the teams and their formations. The Eagles did break through once again with a free kick from Colby Lee to the bottom left hand of the goal. The keeper was left standing and the Eagles celebrated.
With 15 minutes to go, Snow put a lot of pressure on the men, but they handled it and finished the game 2-1. It was a fantastic performance from the men as they dominated every aspect of the game.
The Eagles play again on Thursday, Oct. 6 at home against Truckee Meadows Community College at 3:30 p.m.
