The Eastern Utah Parrot Head Club presented three local charities with a check for $7,800 on Friday. Money was raised at the annual Parrot Head benefit golf tournament Aug. 2.
Donation recipients included Carbon County Food Bank, Utah Foster Care Foundation and Boys and Girls Club of Carbon County.
The Eastern Utah Parrot Head Club was established in 2006. Members celebrate their tropical spirit while serving a purpose in Eastern Utah.
