The Emery County Fair begins at the end of the month, and County Commissioner Laurie Pitchforth is concerned there will be no lamb fry this year.
Despite repeatedly asking for volunteers, Pitchforth has been unable to find anyone willing to head the event.
Pitchforth acknowledges the lamb fry is a lot of work. Pitchforth has experimented with the idea of shortening the event from three nights to just one to try to lighten the burden.
Despite the proposed changes, Pitchforth is still seeking a volunteer.
