Eleven four-man teams competed in a golf tournament hosted by the Emery High School cheerleaders at Millsite Golf Course on Saturday. The Toomer team placed first in the tournament with the Emery High School boys’ team and the Jenco Mine Service team tying for second. The tournament was followed by a raffle.
The cheerleaders were also in attendance to cheer on the teams as they golfed. This year, Emery High School has 20 cheerleaders led by coaches Monica Hansen and Shawnee Snow. They will be having a camp on June 8.
