The Emery High School Spardettes made a trip over the weekend to a competition hosted at Utah Valley University. At the event, the EHS drill team competed against a multitude of different drill teams throughout the state and were able to place well.
The team placed first in hip hop, third in military and kick, and fourth in dance out of seven teams that were deemed tough by coach Shelby Bagley.
“We are so proud of our girls and how far they have come this year,” Bagley said.
The Spardettes will next look to an invitational that is being hosted at Corner Canyon High School. This event is the final competition before region.
