Emery High School hosted its annual Sterling Scholar banquet Wednesday in Castle Dale.
The banquet consisted of dinner, an awards ceremony and Sterling Scholar instruction.
Next year’s Sterling Scholar nominees are:
Savanah Duran – Visual Arts, Caleb Woolsey – Math, Ashley Stilson – General, Shailee Stokes – Business and Marketing, Polson DeMott – Science, Camie Whittle – English, Marqui Moss – Social Science, Jolynn Jennings – Foreign Language, Whitney Roper – Family and Consumer Science; Josh Knighton – Trade and Technology, Adrienne Carter – Speech and Drama, and Olivia Burton – Music
The winners will be chosen during the next school year at the Sterling Scholar competition.
