While at divisionals last weekend at Juab, the Carbon High wrestling team managed to qualify eight Dinos for the 2017 state tournament.
Connor Fausett was the top finisher for the Blue and White, placing third in his weight class of 126 lbs, qualifying for the next bout of competition.
Teammates Kaden Lee, 120 lbs, Casey Shiner, 126 lbs, Kaden Gibson, 132 lbs, Triton Abeyta, 152 lbs, A.J. Adams, 195 lbs, and Ryan Madrigal, 220 lbs, also qualified for the tourney with Nathan Cowley, 145 lbs, qualifying as an alternate.
The state tournament will take place this weekend, Feb. 10-11, at Utah Valley University in Orem.
