The Emery High swim team captured the Utah Division 2A swim title on Jan. 29 by easily defeating the competition. The Spartans finished the meet with 270 team points to seal the win. The Grand County Red Devils placed second at the meet with 120 points followed by Delta with 90, Wasatch Academy with 16 and Millard High who scored 14 team points.
Both Emery girls and boys teams finished at the top of the ladder during the division championship meet as well. The Lady Spartans scored 131 points to blow past its closest competitor, Grand County with 79 points.
The boys also brushed past their competition easily scoring 139 points. Delta finished with 69 points to place second. (Complete results from the division meet are located below.)
