Emery County Business Chamber’s September Lunch and Learn event was held at Miller’s Landing in Huntington. The lunch sponsor was Washington Federal and was catered by a new business, Cherry On Top.

The business spotlight for the month was Jay Stilson Dental along with Joshua Bryan. Stilson graduated in 2007 and started working with Dr. McKell until he retired. Stilson then took over the business on his own. He lives in Castle Dale with his wife and four children. Dr. Stilson speaks fluent Spanish, which is very helpful for his Hispanic patients. His office is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Chiropractor Joshua Bryan also works in Stilson’s office. He is originally from Iona, Idaho and has been working as a chiropractor for a little over 10 years. Bryan lives in American Fork and makes the trip to Castle Dale once a week to see patients. His hours are from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. but he hopes to expand his hours once he gets more patients.

Vikki Barnett, branch manager of Washington Federal Credit Union, and Nathan Hansen, president of Conductive Composite Company, were both guest speakers at the event.
