The Emery County Community Theater is presenting “The Wizard of Oz” March 19-21 at 7 p.m. with a Saturday matinee at 2 p.m. at the Emery High School auditorium. Jan Hanson is the director of the production with a cast of over 70.
When a tornado rips through Kansas, Dorothy is whisked away in her house to the magical Land of Oz. She follows the Yellow Brick Road toward the Emerald City to meet the Wizard, where en route she meets a Scarecrow that needs a brain, a Tin Man missing a heart and a Cowardly Lion who wants courage.
Come enjoy the show and be surprised with the twists of this stage version production of “The Wizard of Oz.”
Cost is $5 per person. Tickets are sold at the door.
