The Emery County Community Theatre is presenting “Tied to the Tracks” March 20-22 at 7 p.m. with a 2 p.m. matinee on Saturday. The production will be in the Emery High School auditorium.

“Tied to the Tracks” is about a small town in North Dakota during the time of statehood in the 1880’s. A medicine show has come to town, bringing a snake oil salesman who is as oily as the product he is selling. He tries to marry Dakota Melody, the town sweetheart, who also happens to be Sheriff Billy Bold’s girl. Trouble ensues, especially when the local bandit Wild Prairie Rose and her gang show up.

Will Wild Prairie Rose get to rob the train? Who will be tied to the tracks? Will the brave sheriff save them? Come see “Tied to the Tracks” to find out!

This show is full of fun songs and great one-liners. Come enjoy the show and have a good laugh. After all, laughter is the best medicine there is!

Cost is $5.00.
