Twenty students between the ages of 8 and 13 were cast members of the production “Fairy Tale Court.”
The production was written and directed by local John Hughes with help from Sarah Wolford and Melinda Durrant. The script takes three favorite fairy tales, the Three Little Pigs, Snow White and Cinderella, and adds a twist of comedy and curiosity to make a delightful presentation.
The cast members included Dani Wolford as Mother Goose, Snow White Charming is Kira Paskett, with dwarfs Micah Hughes, MeyRick Larsen, MeyRick Larsen,Jordan Raynolds, Devin Olsen, Zander Hughes, Champ Justice and Taj Whitesel. Cinderella was Catelyn Urguhart, Fairy Godmother Sara Stevens and the three Little Pigs were Libby Stevens, Charity Jewkes and Keagan Bennett. The Big Bad Wolf was double cast with Paige Thomas and Taj Whitesel. Zach Wolford played the Prince and Maddisyn Larsen is R.L. Hood. The Bailiff that tries to keep order was Adam Olsen. Reporters Kina Jewkes, Anne Stevens and Tyler Urguhart tried to keep the audience appraised of the happenings while Rayna Paskett and Morgan Hughes helped with reactions to the scenes.
Productions took place on Wednesday at 2 and 6 p.m. in the Cottonwood Elementary gym.
