The Emery County Fair kicked off to mixed reactions Wednesday at the Emery County Aquatic Center.
Attendees enjoyed a pool party from noon-8 p.m., and hundreds of children gathered to chases airdropped ping-pong balls for a chance to win $50 and other prizes.
While most kids enjoyed the event, it seemed to fall flat with others.
One participant said, “That was so lame; there weren’t even any balls to get!”
Miss Emery County McCall Spears served free Cold Stone ice cream to attendees.
The night ended with a Zumba workout and karaoke in the park.
