The Emery County Festival of Service will be held this Friday at the Emery County Recreation Center in Castle Dale.
It will run from 5:30-8:30 p.m. and includes a spaghetti dinner. The Country Rovers Band will entertain those in attendance.
Event organizer Jerry Stotler explained that the purpose of this event is two-fold. First, to gather many agencies, including community service, public service, non-profit, and NGO into one place, and help them promote their services to one another and the public.
Second, to help the people of Emery County discover who is helping, where they might fit in their desire to help others, and to do something to payback or pay forward in the communities in which they live and love.
