Emery County Commissioners are currently seeking citizens of Emery County that would be interested in serving on a Planning & Zoning Commission Board. Any citizen living within Emery County interested in serving on this board may obtain a volunteer form online at emerycounty.com or at the Clerk/Auditor’s Office during regular business hours. The volunteer form will need to be returned to the Clerk/Auditor’s Office, PO Box 629, Castle Dale, Utah 84513 by Friday, April 26, 2019 at the close of business.
The Planning and Zoning Commission Board is an advisory committee that reviews and makes recommendations on a variety of planning and zoning issues. Committee members must be able to attend monthly meetings and have an understanding of Robert’s Rule of Order. We are especially interested in citizens from Green River, Elmo and Cleveland as we do not have any members from these area.
