The search for a missing Emery County man continued Saturday as sheriff’s deputies and members of the search and rescue team scoured certain areas of Emery County.
Matthew Alan Larsen was last seen in December 2012 in the Castle Dale/Orangeville area. He is 6-foot-2 and 180 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes.
The search crew spent the day searching the west side of Orangeville near the base of Horn Mountain.
Though search crews found no traces of Larsen on Saturday, the search will continue Wednesday with the help of a Utah Department of Public Safety helicopter. The crew will again focus on the region west of Orangeville because Larsen’s last cell phone activity occurred there.
