The Emery County Sheriff’s Office (ECSO) released information on Friday afternoon regarding illegal dumping that recently took place.

Beginning the statement with a reflection on how beautiful the area is, until someone commits an act like illegal dumping, the ECSO stated that they believed remnants of a remodel project were dumped just off of the Desbee Dove Road on Wednesday or Thursday of this week.

The remnants appear to show that whoever committed the act put in new flooring, a new television, a stand for the television, new furniture and more. Old carpet and padding was dumped along with old flooring and furniture boxes. This was all done in a spot that was clearly marked with a “No Dumping Allowed” sign.

If anyone has information pertaining to this illegal act, including those that have recently upgraded their homes, contact the ECSO Dispatch Center at (435) 381-2404. The ESCO ensured that anyone that calls may remain anonymous.
