Emery County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant in the early morning hours of Wednesday after several weeks of surveillance on a house in Huntington. This was part of a joint investigation with Carbon Metro Drug Task Force.
Task Force agents in both counties had been watching two men for a couple of months. Based on activity observed, one of the men was arrested in Price, which led to search warrants being issued and executed in both counties.
The warrant in Huntington resulted in the seizure of controlled substances, drug paraphernalia, evidence of controlled substance distribution and sophisticated surveillance equipment. A total of five arrests were made in this case.
Investigation is ongoing in both counties.
