Notice is being given that the Emery County Republican Party is accepting applications for the position of Emery County Treasurer. The application is to secure a qualified County Treasurer to fulfill the unexpired term of the retiring County Treasurer. Only a qualified Republican can apply to complete the remaining term.
The required application form may be obtained from a member of the Republican Executive Committee who are; Bill Dellos -749-9989; Janet Geary-687-2112; Mike Olsen-609-0419; Karen Dellos-748-2488; Denise Chapman -749-0546. Applications may be picked up starting October 9th . The deadline for applying for the Treasurer’s position is Monday, October 22. All applications must be delivered by 5:00 p.m. on October 22nd to Bill Dellos, 385 N. Cottonwood View, Orangeville.
The candidates will be meeting with the Emery County Republican Central Committee Members on Wednesday, October 24th at 6:00 p.m. All candidates are required to attend this meeting or they will be disqualified. The purpose is so the Committee Members can become acquainted with the candidates. The meeting for electing the County Treasurer will begin at 7:00 p.m. Candidates will be allowed 5 minutes to speak. There will be a question and answer period. Only Republican Central Committee Members will be allowed to ask questions and to vote. Voting will be by secret ballot.
