The sixth annual Princess Tea Party was hosted on Saturday at the Emery County Recreation Center in Castle Dale. The theme for the tea party this year was “Frozen” and “Tangled.”
Approximately 100 people were in attendance and were greeted at the door by Miss Emery Jaicelyn Shakespaere. Among them were many little princesses dressed as their favorite fairy tale princess.
The girls and their mothers, grandmothers, sisters and aunts enjoyed the evening, which began with dinner. They participated in events such as making paper lanterns to be set off at dusk, jewelry making, horseshoes and petting horses.
Flynn Rider and Rapunzel were in front of the Snuggly Duckling to pose for photographs with the princesses. Ariel, Princess Aurora from Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella were posing for photographs in front of the castle and Belle and Snow White were present as well.
The event was coordinated and decorated by Montica Cox, owner of Moments 2 Cherish in Huntington. The castle and Snuggly Duckling were made by Nichole Larsen and Maurdi Larsen.
Cox would like to give a special thanks to Autumn Behling, Julie Jones, Stacy McElprang, Maurdi Larsen and Nichole Larsen for all of their hard work.
