San Juan, Richfield, Carbon, Pinnacle and Emery all got together for a cross country meet on Tuesday in Emery County. Richfield’s Hayden Harward (16:23) won on the boys’ side by twenty seconds over Bryar Meccariello (16:43) from Emery. Fellow Spartan Jess Christiansen was just one second behind his teammate to take third (16:44).
Ryan Page, Chad Page, James Bryner and Shane Scaugaard all came in at the same time for Carbon in 10th at 18:53. Landen Hardy was Pinnacle’s top runner finishing in 23rd at 19:20.
Richfield won on they boys’ side followed by Emery and then Carbon.
For the lady runners, Richfield’s Jamie Holt and Jora Foster took first and second, respectively. Ambree Jones finished fourth overall for Carbon while Adaley Lester led the Lady Spartans in eighth overall. Jacee Atwood was Pinnacle’s top runner and finished in 34th.
The girls’ division ended the same way with Richfield, Emery and Carbon going 1,2,3 respectfully.
