Emery traveled to Mount Pleasant Wednesday to take on the 3A North Sanpete Hawks.
It was a close fought battle throughout most of the game. North Sanpete dominated the fourth quarter and pulled away with the 59-51 win over the Spartans.
The Hawks shot 74% from the line while Emery went 11-22. North Sanpete’s Dakota Anderson recorded a double-double, netting 18 points with 10 rebounds. Emery’s Tyson Roper ended the night with 15 points.
