The Emery Spartans couldn’t overcome a 28-6 halftime deficit in their loss to the Morgan Trojans Friday night in Castle Dale, losing 41-13 to even up their season record at 3-3.
Bryce Dugmore rushed 10 times for 81 yards with two touchdowns in the game. Emery scored once in the second quarter and again in the fourth when the outcome was nearly decided.
Emery (3-3, 1-1 3A North) will gear up for a road contest at Union (3-3, 1-1 3A North) on Friday in Roosevelt. The game can be viewed live on ETV Channel 10 at 7 p.m.
