The Emery Spartans won their ninth-straight game Friday night in Salina, upending the third-ranked North Sevier Wolves 75-66 for their second Region 15 win.
The Butler brothers combined to score 36 points in the victory. Koby led all scorers in the game with 21 points and 11 rebounds and Kolton poured in a career-high 15. Bowdie Jacobson and Bryce Dugmore were also in double figures with 17 and 10, respectively.
After falling behind by one at the half, Emery outscored North Sevier 49-39 the rest of the way. Emery’s 30-point fourth quarter was its largest single quarter output of the season.
Emery (12-1, 2-0 Region 12, #1 in 2A) will host Gunnison (4-10, 1-3 Region 15) on Wednesday night in Castle Dale. The game can be viewed live on ETV Channel 10 at 7 p.m.
