The Emery High chorus entertained family and friends on Wednesday evening with their Choral Christmas Concert.
Director David Bird along with accompanist Marilee Cox directed the mens chorus in singing “The Shepherd’s Spiritual” by Donald Moore and the womens chorus in performing “Joyful, Joyful, We Adore Thee” arranged by Lloyd Larsen.
Soloists performed next beginning with Sierra Chamberlain singing “When Christmas Comes to Town,” Len Bell sang “White Christmas,” Madelyn Carter performed “Welcome to Our World,” Chad Rowley sang “Winter Carol,” Chyanne Carter performed “Silent Night,” Kaitlyn Saling sang “Santa Baby,” Nate Gilbert delighted with “Let it be Christmas,” Cheyenne Deto performed “Once Upon a December,” Kadrianne Bird sang “I Believe,” Cleo Halladay performed “O Come, O Come Immanuel,” Beau Ivie sang “Innkeeper,” Taylor Tuttle performed “Be Born in Me,” a quartet sang “Angels We Have Heard on High” and Micah Bass finished with “Hallelujah Christmas.”
The combined chorus finished the concert by singing “Bell Carol of the Kings” arranged by Philip Kern, “What Sweeter Music” by John Rutter, “The First Noel” by Dan Forrest, “Star of Bethlehem” by Dan Carter, “Mary, Did You Know?” by Bruce Greer and “One Bright Star” by John Jarvis.
